Tuxedo Brownies
With Memorial Day coming up many of us go to BBQ, parties or
get togethers. If you are like myself or
my friends you always bring something to the party. I am always the person who
brings the desserts, surprise surprise right! Something I feel is a smart idea
is that I bring something small and individual that people can just grab and
eat. These are my tuxedo Brownies. They
are small, cute, delicious and perfect for everyone! As Always they are simple
to make as well.
What you need!
·
Mini Muffin Pans
·
Cool whip / Frosting
·
Strawberries (optional) (or another fruit you
may like)
Follow the directions on the back of the box for the
brownies. Bake for about 10 minuets use the toothpick test to make sure they
are done. Once done let cool and then you can decorate the rest of the dessert!
With the strawberries, I used and egg slicer and put the strawberry bottom up
and slice almost all the way to the bottom.
Then fan out the slices of strawberries it gives it a cute look, that
looks like you are a professional chef and you will get tons of compliments and
its something so simple.
There you have it! A great small, simple and cute dessert to
have at your next big party. Plus, the receips makes about 48 of these
babies.
Please remember eat responsibly!

Monster Cookies
Well I am at the age where many of my friends are getting
married, engaged, or having kids. While, It sucks for me to have be the third wheel
everywhere I go with my friends. However, on the plus side I get to do some
cute things for them for their birthdays, Baptism, communions and more! This
makes me a little excited.
Why you ask?
I now get to play around with some cute ideas for my friends
kids to whom which I refer to be my nieces and nephews. My favorite part of
this is seeing their face light up when they see something so simple that I
have created for them.
This week I have decided to show you guys my monster
cookies! These are super cute and simple to make. It only takes two
ingredients. Cookies and frosting!
Where can you find the cookies and frosting at go to the
local grocery store and in their bakery department grab a box of sugar cookies.
These cookies are generally pretty good and soft. Then in the baking aisle you
can grab some Betty Crocker
Frosting, you will want to grab vanilla this way you can dye it to the color you want to make your monster.
It takes two cookies one on the bottom where you put the
mouth then put the other cookie on top. Then you create the eye and hair. Then
you are done. As I said they are simple and easy to make. If you want to make
it even easier on yourself. Let the kids do it! Give them the two cookies and
let them decorate it themselves. This way they will feel accomplished when they
finish their project!

Milkshake Cupcakes
Now I don’t know about you guys but I love desserts that
look cute and adorable. However, many of us do not have time to make things
look cute that we find online that we would love to make.
I have something that the longest part to do is bake the cupcakes.
Everything else is easy peasy lemon squeezey.
Now, I normally use my own recipes when I make desserts. But
those of you that are in a time crunch and need a quick easy solution that you
can still save money on without buying it from the bakery there is always BettyCrocker.
What you need:
Betty Crocker cake mix (of your choice)
Betty Crocker Frosting
Sprinkles
Cherries
Straws
Just like I said simple, easy, and fun!
Baker’s Tip – When using store bought frosting put in the
refrigerator for about 20 mins to harden it so it does not just melt together.

Dining with Dessert!
I know when I go out to a restaurant I look forward to their
desserts at the end of my meal. One place that I enjoy going to with my friends
because they have not only some very tasty food. But their dessert is top
notch. Applebee’s has affordable food and decent desserts. From their shooters
to the molten lava cake and more! It makes my mouth water just talking about
it!

Photo from www.applebees.com
What I like best about Applebee’s desserts is that I don’t have
to get a big huge dessert. I can get a small shooter that will satisfy my
craving for ice cream or a brownie. Also, the other great thing about Applebee’s
is that they are family friendly many of my friends have kids so it very nice
when we can go somewhere and their will not be a problem with other people
looking at us.

and cookies. Your mouth waters and then you say “ I can start my diet tomorrow”.
That’s what I always say too. However something always comes up that tomorrow never
comes.
I have simple dessert that is very simple and tasty to
satisfy your sweet tooth. Believe it or no its sugar free and low calories. I
know I know too good to be true right! WRONG! All you need is sugar free angel
food cake and sugar free cool whip. Then you can add any fruit Strawberries,
Raspberries, Blueberries, pineapple or even coconut to make it taste even
better.
Picture provider by www.food.com
Yes, its that simple. Now! Most of you think what about ice
cream weight watchers and Skinny cow have done a great job at make ice cream
and many other food taste good that are not too bad for you. There is also
diabetic friendly Ice-cream that you can use as well. Best part is, it taste
almost identical to regular Ice-cream but it’s a little bit healthier for you
filled with fiber and protein.
Granted it’s not the moose tracks, mackinaw Island Fudge, or
the Dairy Queen that we all adore and love but it helps most people just like
me get the sweet part satisfied. It’s just a small step in the right direction
but this is a dessert that you will not feel so guilty about after eating!

Peanut butter Brownie Torte!
Ever have those days where you are just craving chocolate. Me too! But you can’t figure out what you want to eat. Do I want a Hershey bar, M&M’s, brownies, cookies or cake? So many things come to mind.
I have many different craving myself. However, when I crave chocolate I want peanut butter too. As most of us would agree they are great together. So the question is why not Reese cups.
My best dessert that I enjoy making is a peanut butter brownie torte. Sounds amazing right! Just picture a nice warm brownie with melting peanut butter cups on top with a marshmallow filling in the middle. Mouth is watering now right! This is very simple and easy to make dessert.
What it requires
2 brownie mixes
1 bag of marshmallow’s
1 big container of Reese cups
1 bag of peanut butter chocolate chip morsels
½ cup of peanut butter. (per brownie mix) 1 cup all together.
Make sure you have your torte pans out. Make your first batch of brownie mix according to the package. After the brownie mix is ready add the ½ cup of peanut butter to the mix and stir in. Pour each batch seperatly into each side of the torte pan. Bake according to the package.
Mean while take all the Reese cups out of their packages and cut them up into pieces, then put them to the side.
Next take ¾ of the morsels and put in glass container and put in the microwave four about 1:30 stirring every 15 seconds. Once it is all melted put the bag of marshmallows into a big bowl. Add the melted chocolate and peanut butter and stir all together.
By this time your brownie should be almost done. Take a tooth pick and test about an inch in from the outer rim if there is any food on the tooth pick it needs to be baked longer. If not it is done and let it cool. After about 15 minuets one side is ready to be flipped out of the pan. Put the marshmallow filling in the middle. Then take the second brownie and put on top of the bottom and the mixture.
Put the chopped up Reese Cups and put them on top all over. With the remaining ¼ of morsels melt with the same process as above. Then drizzle the mixture on top of all Reese Cups.
Finally you are done! And you have a wonderful dessert to enjoy and share.
Baker Tip’s
Take a brown paper bag and out like both of you baking pan cut out and put inside the torte pan!
