Monster Cookies

Well I am at the age where many of my friends are getting married, engaged, or having kids. While, It sucks for me to have be the third wheel everywhere I go with my friends. However, on the plus side I get to do some cute things for them for their birthdays, Baptism, communions and more! This makes me a little excited.

Why you ask?

I now get to play around with some cute ideas for my friends kids to whom which I refer to be my nieces and nephews. My favorite part of this is seeing their face light up when they see something so simple that I have created for them.

This week I have decided to show you guys my monster cookies! These are super cute and simple to make. It only takes two ingredients. Cookies and frosting!

While I make homemade cookies and homemade frosting if I am in a jam I will go out and buy store bought stuff to make it a little easier on myself. Whichever one you choose to use, they turn out great!
Where can you find the cookies and frosting at go to the local grocery store and in their bakery department grab a box of sugar cookies. These cookies are generally pretty good and soft. Then in the baking aisle you can grab some Betty Crocker

Frosting, you will want to grab vanilla this way you can dye it to the color you want to make your monster.

It takes two cookies one on the bottom where you put the mouth then put the other cookie on top. Then you create the eye and hair. Then you are done. As I said they are simple and easy to make. If you want to make it even easier on yourself. Let the kids do it! Give them the two cookies and let them decorate it themselves. This way they will feel accomplished when they finish their project!
